Engineering Degree in Organic Chemistry, University of Chemistry and Technology Prague
Mr. Markovič has 35 years of experience in pharma and biotech industry. He held various managerial positions with increasing level of responsibility at Galena and Ivax Pharmaceuticals. He is a co-founder of MD-Pharm (company focused on worldwide API sales and distribution) and Hacvia (production of large-scale API). His specialty is synthesis and process technology of ergot and morphinan alkaloids. Mr. Markovič authored or co-authored 7 patents.
Jiří Žurek, Ph.D.

Dr. Žurek has 15 years of experience in pharmaceutical and biotech industry. Prior to joining Mihulka, Dr. Žurek held various technical positions in R&D laboratory at Teva Czech Industries. His area of interest in organic synthesis and scale-up for production. Dr. Žurek authored and co-authored 2 patents and 4 publications in scientific journals.

Mr. Trtík has 45 years of experience in pharma and biotech industry. Prior to joining Mihulka he held various QA positions in Galena, Ivax Pharmaceuticals, and Teva Czech Industries. His primary responsibilities include GMP documentation, and internal and external audits. He authored or co-authored 10 patents and 3 publications in scientific journals.

Mr. Štverka has 30 years of experience in pharmaceutical and biotech industry. Prior to joining Mihulka he held various managerial positions at Ivax Pharmaceuticals and Teva Czech Industries. His primary interests include process controls, process test method validations, chemical instrumentation and manufacturing equipment. Mr. Štverka authored and co-author 9 patents and 2 publications in scientific journals.
Ladislav Cvak, Ph.D.

Numerous trainings, courses and conferences aimed to the GMP and other regulatory and scientific aspects of API manufacture, organized by Centre for Professional Advancement, Scientific Update, Concept Heidelberg, IIR and other organizations. 45 years of experience in Pharmaceutical Industry, former Director R&D of API in IVAX Opava. Expert on Natural products (ergot alkaloids, other alkaloids, paclitaxel, cyclosporin, tacrolimus) isolated from both, medicinal plants and fermentation broth. Expert on Photochemistry and Process chromatography. Editor of a book about Ergot (in series Medicinal and aromatic plants – industrial profiles), issued by Harwood academic publishers, 1999. Author of 60 patents and 65 scientific papers. External lecturer on Pharmaceutical Faculty of Charles University
